Our Purpose:
The principal purpose of the Friends of the Library is to raise added funds for the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library so that:
- children and adults at all branches may enjoy programs to enrich their learning
- the various collections of the library system may be enhanced
- library branches may receive donations and funding assistance in emergencies
Fall Book Sale: Nov 13 – 20, 2010

Fabulous books, recordings, ephemera of all types will be available for an extended period of time within an expanded sales area. As in past years, the public is invited to Jump Start Your Holiday Shopping, with a wide selection of Great Books at Great Prices for a Great Cause.
The more expensive “Valuable and Attractive” books will only be on sale during the Spring Sale.
Proceeds benefit programs and services of the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library.
Spring Book Sale: April 2 – 10, 2011

The Annual Spring Book Sale is the Friends of JMRL’s primary fundraiser. Proceeds from this annual event benefit the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library’s programs and facilities. Most of the books sold are donated by members of our communities.
The will be no change of venue! Our spring sale will be held at Gordon Avenue branch of JMRL, as usual. The dates of the sale have been arranged so that the first week of the sale coincides with the local schools’ spring break, an arrangement we hope will be a regular feature of future sales.
