The principal purpose of the Friends of the Library is to raise added funds for the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library so that:
Proceeds from our Spring and Fall Book Sales benefit the Library’s programs and special projects
Most of the books are donated by members of our communities.
Fabulous books, recordings, games and puzzles, and ephemera of all types will be available at the 52nd Spring book sale, Saturday April 1 to Sunday April 9, 2017, from 10am to 7pm. As in past years, the public is invited to come enjoy Great Books at Great Prices for a Great Cause.
All members who have paid their membership dues before Friday, March 31, can purchase up to $50 worth of materials before the first day of the sale. To become a member, see: http://jmrlfriends.org/join
Educators and social service representatives can select up to ten grocery bags worth of materials at no charge.
The public at large is also invited to fill grocery bags for only $5. Bring your own bags!
Thanks to all our fantastic volunteers and our wonderful Book Sale stalwart, Bill, and our new Book Sale Manager, Peter, and Assistant, Zac. All your hard work made our Fall 2016 Book Sale a fantastic success! We made over $114,000 with over 4,400 individuals visiting the sale! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Proceeds from both the Spring and Fall book sales benefit programs and services of the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library.
Be sure to put Books Behind Bars in the Designation box, so we know what your donation is intended to support.
