Spring Book Sale

The Annual Spring Book Sale is one of two primary fundraiser for the Friends of JMRL. Proceeds from this annual event benefit the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library’s programs and facilities. All of the books sold are donated by members of our communities. The annual spring book sale is truly a Charlottesville treasure!

Saturday, April 2 through Sunday, April 10.

Hours for all sale days: 10am – 7pm

No scanners or other electronic devices will be permitted during the first three hours of the first day of the book sale.

Members only pre-sale: Friday, April 1, 5 – 7pm (no fooling!)

All members who have +paid their membership dues before Friday, April 1, can purchase up to $50 worth of materials before the first day of the sale. To become a member, see: http://jmrlfriends.org/join.

Items from the Valuable and Attractive list will not be available at the pre-sale.
Scanners and other electronic devices will not be permitted at the pre-sale.

1/2 price days: April 9 and 10.

Educators and Bargain Bag Day! Monday, April 11, 10am-6pm.

Educators and social service representatives can select up to ten grocery bags worth of materials at no charge. Certification of instructional or organizational status may be requested. *The public at large is also invited to fill grocery bags for only $5. Bring your own bags! *

Sale patrons can park at Venable School on weekdays, because the school is closed for spring break.
Book donations will be accepted through March 25. Donations will resume being accepted April 12, after the Book Sale.
