Spring Book Sale

The Annual Spring Book Sale is the Friends of JMRL’s primary fundraiser. Proceeds from this annual event benefit the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library’s programs and facilities. All of the books sold are donated by members of our communities. The annual book sale is truly a Charlottesville treasure!

March 21 – March 29, 2015

Hours for all sale days: 10am – 7pm

NEW POLICY: No scanners or other electronic devices will be permitted during the first three hours of the first day of the book sale.

Members only pre-sale: Friday, March 20, 5 – 7pm

All members who have paid their membership dues by the time of the sale can purchase up to $50 worth of materials before the first day of the sale. To become a member, see: http://jmrlfriends.org/join.

Items from the Valuable and Attractive list will not be available at this time. Scanners and other electronic devices will not be permitted at this special event.

1/2 price days: March 28 and 29.

Educators and Social Service Agencies Day: March 29, 10am-6pm

Up to $50 worth of educational materials (at half-price value) free to teachers, homeschooling parents, and social service agencies. The option to purchase materials beyond the $50 limit will be available on that day. Certification of instructional or organizational status will be requested.

The dates of the sale have been arranged so that the sale coincides with the local schools’ spring break. Sale patrons will be able to park at Venable School on weekdays.
