Spring Book Sale

The Annual Spring Book Sale is one of two primary fundraiser for the Friends of JMRL. Proceeds from this annual event benefit the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library’s programs and facilities. All of the books sold are donated by members of our communities. The annual spring book sale is truly a Charlottesville treasure!

Saturday, April 1 (no fooling!) through Sunday, April 9, 2017, from 10am to 7pm

No electronic devices (e.g., scanners) permitted on Member Preview Night (Friday, March 31) and on Saturday April 1 from 10am to 1pm

Members only pre-sale: Friday, March 31, 5 to 7 pm

All members who have +paid their membership dues before Friday, March 31, can purchase up to $50 worth of materials before the first day of the sale. To become a member, see: http://jmrlfriends.org/join.

Items from the Valuable and Attractive list will not be available at the pre-sale.

1/2 price days: April 8 & 9

Educators and Bargain Bag Day! Monday, April 10, 10am-7pm

Educators and social service representatives can select up to ten grocery bags worth of materials at no charge.

The public at large is also invited to fill grocery bags for only $5. Bring your own bags!

Sale patrons can park at Venable School on weekdays, because the school is closed for spring break.

Book donations will be accepted through March 23. Donations will resume being accepted April 15, after the Book Sale.
