The Annual Spring Book Sale is the Friends of JMRL’s primary fundraiser. Proceeds from this annual event benefit the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library’s programs and facilities. All of the books sold are donated by members of our communities. The annual book sale is truly a Charlottesville treasure!
NEW! – The Fall Book Sale has been expanded to eight days, Nov 13 – 20, 2010.
Over 200 volunteers contribute hundreds of hours every year so that our two big annual sales can offer thousands of books and recordings at great prices. A 3-day Fall Sale in 2009 and a 9-day sale in the Spring of 2010 raised nearly $154,000 for library programs and special projects.
